Product definitions for packaged goods specify
both the label for the article and the EAN and
SSCC codes that identify the article and must
appear on the label. This way, label printers
are fed with correct data at all times.
Product variation demands

Customers impose specific requirements on the
labels for their products. Consequent to the great
product variation, it is important to be able
to respond to specific labelling demands. In MEScontrol.net,
label contents can be defined for every product
and links can be established between database
fields and variable label fields. Data, such as
UCC/ EAN, SSCC, BB, ingredients, barcodes or dates
are retrieved from the database in real-time and
printed on the label. Even if the product or label
contents is changed at the very last moment, MEScontrol.net
makes sure that the labels contain the correct
data.
Integration with NiceLabel
NiceLabel has been integrated in MEScontrol.net
to support all common, industrial label printers.
Label designs are managed from the central database
and archives are kept for traceability purposes.
Advanced expressions With the advanced expression
builder, you can build expressions and perform
computations using the actual data stored in the
database. You can put the results on the labels. |
