Stock geared to actual production
MEScontrol.net integrates inventory management in the process flow to make sure that stock can be continuously adjusted in accordance with the actual production needs. Records of product supplies, ambient parameters and storage times are kept by MEScontrol.net for all locations in the storage zones.

Customer-specific modelling
Storage zones and storage units represent the virtual counterparts of intermediate storage areas and locations available in a production plant. In a flexible way, characteristics of every individual storage zone can be defined (rack, silo, tank, aisle, etc.). They are embedded in the routing workflow of the production process. The relationship with other work centers in the plant layout sets the rules according to which products can be put into or taken from stock. Storage zones consist of storage units, similar to work centers, which group equipment.

Real-time registration of consumption
All inventory movements are registered through real-time data communication by means of barcode scanners or RFID instruments. In/out movements are handled as operations and translated into picking lists. Taking into account already assigned product quantities for scheduled orders and expected raw material deliveries, MEScontrol.net forecasts future stock.
